This is the second year when I see the sledges and people of all ages climb the highs and come down crashing in the snow, sometime screaming and mostly having the time of their life. I’ve not done it myself yet, In fact I made my first attempt at a snowball yesterday. All I’ve learnt so far in my attempts of dealing with snow is not slipping off every time I venture out for a walk or for work.

Does it take courage, practice or is it a natural ability to let the guards down and let go? Is it a talent or an art? I’m a big practitioner of holding back, staying in control but I did enjoy looking at these people letting their inhibitions go in the snow…I wish I was one of them… Perhaps, I would be. I just need to get a sledge…
