While flipping through some pictures, I came across this picture of colourful houses. That huge green door and the yellow entrance reminded me of those vacations spent in Porbandar where huge entrances known as ‘dela‘ in Gujarati were fun to hang on to. It brought memories of tiny li’l me (can’t imagine that but it was once upon a time) holding on to the brass handles of the ‘dela‘ and swinging on the doorstep…

Well, this picture has nothing to do with Porbandar. It was clicked from the Steinerne Brucke, the bridge across river Danube. The quaint side of Europe in the old quarter of Regensburg makes the bright colours feel somber. It was the first week of 2010 Spring in Regensberg, Bayern, Munich. The Sun cheated on us or was it the weather forecast?
