The Inheritance of Loss:

Sometimes it is just not possible to read a book when it is all the rage. I am half a decade late in reading Kiran Desai, but if I had read it five years back, I didn’t have the temperament to appreciate it. Now as I tread loneliness overcome by the beauty of my surroundings, the book speaks volumes to me. It did slow me down on my reading week, as I stopped to savor it at peace. Though the effect it had kind of did rob me of the peace I was knowingly pretending to exist in. Since making use of the Stuttgart library’s English books collection is part of this reading plan, the next title I have picked up disturbs my make belief peace further. I am reading Ray Bradbury’s Fahrenheit 451.
